So what this tells me is that 4 pages of this is a flashback, leaving 16 pages of story for any forward momentum to the story. Which means we'll get 16 pages of dialogue and a last page of them about to spring into action (which will be more dialogue next issue).

I tell you Bendes is like to comics what a viral worm is to your PC. It just slowly burrows in until everything just comes to a stop.

So they've retconned the Vision into having been created by Ultron, rather than altered from the Original Human Torch by a kidnapped Professor Horton?

I don't really mind the streamlining, but Bendis has [frick]ed up the Vision only slightly less than Byrne at this point, so I don't exactly trust the source.

Oh, and as for "How the Vision returned", from these pages I gather Stark, Richards and Pym stood around a table having a disjointed conversation about how they had no idea how to fix him, and then he sat up and everyone was happy.

He died... but don't worry, he's better now.

Seriously, are they even trying?

"Action" is overrated, i like Story and Characters, which, in most cases, Bendis is quite good at. I'm not sure how I feel about Age of Ultron yet.

It may just be me, but damn am i tired of this endless parade of "game-changing" 100-issue long mega crossover events.

I'm really tired of crossover events too. In fact, it stops me from buying comics because I don't want to have to buy 100 issues from crossover events just to know what's going on. They should do it once every 5 years or less.

True lovers of the art of comics know indie is the way to go for quality. The scene has evolved so much since when I was a kid, in the early 90's. When, aside from Image and Malibu, the bulk of it was tolkein/conan-like fantasy crap. Stop relying on Marvel and DC so much guys. Although, they are the most recognizable, the format they use is rather formulatic and boring. You don't see these restrictions in the indie stuff.

^Impossible. Coulson is a separate character in the comics.

Not into Hitch's artwork. I would love me a poster of that Ultron variant cover though.

Yeah.... I'm not feeling the artwork on this book. Looks kind of like the artwork on Thunderbolts.

Overall, I'm a big fan of Bendis, my deal is sometimes i think he needs a strong editor to look things over before everything is signed off to go.

As it is, he is writing the only Spider-man title I give a crap about.

Ultron's really controlling all of this from his X-Box. Which means it will all collapse very soon.

This doesnt explain how the vision was revived in the 616 universe. This is now an alternate reality that we are seeing in Age of Ultron. This entire storyline is supposed to take place in a future that we do not know if its the timeline of the current 616 or deviation of it, so all bets are off. One would have to assume it's an alternate reality because I cant see Marvel doing this whole end of earth thing in their current continuity sometime in the near future......especially with it meaning most of their top characters are dead.

Hard to sell titles in that timeline now isnt it?
