This story is pretty awesome. But it's taking FOREVER!!!! It's like one issue every 3 months or something. I have to re-read the every issue before a new one comes out because I forget everything. could be the alcohol though. The only problem is that if Wanda can restore powers, then what is Hope for? and that the last 5 years of X-Men events (all the messiah/second coming stuff which was awesome) was for nothing.

So has this series dealt at all with what happened to the Vision? I was pretty pissed that Marvel seemed to gloss over the most important relationship the Scarlet Witch ever had in her whole "goes crazy" plot. Actually, the fact that neither Quicksilver nor the Vision had a role in "Avengers Disassembled" was among the many craptacular plotting decisions in that whole mess.

@chewtoy

Wasn't Vision not a big hitter in "Disassembled" because he was killed in disassembled? It's been a while since I read that. Also this series does bring up the Vision's relationship with Wanda briefly. I haven't read much Avengers with Vision in it so I can't relay much.

@AlcoholicA:

Yeah, they killed him quickly in the beginning. The Vision and Wanda's relationship was at the core of the Avengers series for pretty much all of the 70's, encompassing the classic runs of Roy Thomas and Steve Englehart up through around issue 200. In fact, before Bendis came on, only Captain America had been in more issues of the Avengers than the Vision.

Vizh and his relationship with Wanda was treated just about as well in "Disassembled" as Cyclops and his relationship with Jean was treated in "X-men 3".

ah I see, well I know little about him, but when it's brought up in "The Children's Crusade" he simply states something along the lines of "that was another Vision". He also looks younger and is with (leads?) the Young Avengers, so I'm assuming it's just another Vision body with a new memory/personality.

Magneto and Wolverine are standing next to the Avengers, but if one or both of them switch it could easily make the difference

This Childrens Crusade title is coming out sooooooo slowly. It's hard to keep track of it when the last issue you read was two months ago.

this is way better than Fear itself. But it takes time between comics. But it´s good

I called it weeks ago that the "next big thing" for 2012 that they were hinting at was going to be about the Scarlet Witch and the whole "Avengers Disassembled" storyline. That is the point where the Marvel U went from being a cool place for readers to escape to, to a miserable, dark, dangerous place where hero's hate, fight, and kill each other and generally act like douchebags, and aall the major cities get totally destroyed every other month.

Just noticed something: How is it that Wonder Man is with the Avengers. Doesn't the right hand know what the left hand is doing over there at the Marvel Editors office?
