Marvel has revealed that writer Marjorie Liu and artist Mike Perkins will be the new creative team on Astonishing X-Men as of issue #48. The book will take place during the current "Regenesis" status quo, focusing on Wolverine's side. He'll be joined by Warbird, Northstar, Gambit, Cecila Reyes, Iceman and Karma. They'll be facing off against The Marauders in the first arc, although the villains won't be joined by Mister Sinister who is currently making life difficult for Cyclops' team of Uncanny X-Men. I agree, Wolverine is now apart of his X-team, X-Force, the Avengers and got forbid some other secret team we don't know about. He has been whored out the last few years it's kinda annoying...does the guy ever sleep or just rotate costumes and always fight someone?

its good to see gambit back in the action... and with rogue nowhere in sight.

shame though, i was really hoping gambit would join the REAL x-men team (meaning the one with CYCLOPS)

oh well, i bet he'll make the jump once he runs into sinister in a few issues

Whoa I just saw someone posted "Plus they have a gay AND a lesbian on the team."

um...arent lesbians gay? I didnt know gay men were referred to as "a gay".

Also, who cares about the sexuality of a super hero? Seriously!?!?! What you do when you take off the tights is up to you and should not be a factor - that stuff just makes me not want to read comics as its just plain stupid. Dont you realize that the mere implication of sexuality is what created the comics code nearly killing comics as we know it and gave birth to some of the stupidest storylines ever - Super Woman, Bat Woman, Krypto, Bat-Mite...need I go on?

Im sure I offended some politically correct goober out there and to that I say...nothing actually I guess my work is done. haha
