COMICS: Marvel Announces SUPERIOR SPIDER-WEEK Beginning On Monday

What’s in store for the Superior Spider-Man in the coming months? Find out next week!

What does all this mean? We'll just have to wait and see! However, the first image is one we've already seen from June's Superior Spider-Man as Peter Parker continues to battle Otto Octavius for control. The next shows a new-look Shocker (as well as possibly Beetle and Speed Demon), while we can then see Carnage, a very different looking Spidey and the superhero back alongside his fellow Avengers. Perhaps he won't be fired after all? Sound off with your thoughts below!

Anyone else reminded a bit of Ben Reilly with that new suit? The Spider-Emblem looks exactly like his.

This series is actually very good. People really should not judge a book by its cover. It amazes me the way Doc Ock uses some of his inventions while he is Spidey.

i think age of ultron is an alternative time line because in issue 3 they name a few characters that are no longer with us but they are in the other marvel now titles.

@LEVITIKUZ- I've noticed that, too. I read the Daredevil issue with Superior Spider-Man and it was the only time I liked the character. The problem is Dan Slott is not a good writer. His stories have no subtly, he glosses over or simplifies important concepts, and every villain either talks like they're from a Saturday morning cartoon in the 60's or reading from a thesaurus.

@ TonyChu

i loved that bit in issue 4,when aunt may is in therapy & shes gonna need a cane to help her walk.

peter"otto"parker designs that exo-limb with a neuro interface grafted to the spine & brain & he wants to give aunt may the first trial of the device.

lab assistants are in a state of shock that parker wants to give human trials to test this out.

the lab assistants know peters resume quite well & know he's not skilled enough for this kind of invention .

so doc ock gains access to parker memories,"i had a doctorate at sixteen, what have you done with your life."

@ TankD and Marvel72,

AoU is in Marvel Now continuity. We just won't know how it fits until the end (though I suspect the Fantastic Four's time ship will have a bit to do with that). It's the same scenario as what's been happening in Captain America vs. Cap in the Avengers titles. They don't exactly sync up, but they're in continuity regardless.

It's simply a question of figuring out "when" they take place in relation to each other, as it's obviously not simultaneous.
