COMICS: Marvel Teases 'Dead No More'

While Civil War II is garnering a lot of attention in the comic book world, Marvel Comics is also teasing another major event with a teaser poster that reads, 'Dead No More'. Is Wolverine coming back? Nova (Richard Rider)? Uncle Ben? Adult Jean Grey? Ben Reilly?

A play on the famous Spider-Man phrase 'Spider-Man no more" is the new teaser from Marvel's Next Big Thing, relating to the Spider-Man franchise?  "Dead No More" could be a teaser for a number of characters.  Is Uncle Ben returning? Is Wolverine popping his claws once again? Will adult Jean Grey return to reunite with Cyclops? Details are scarce at the moment but stay tuned as Marvel will surely be releasing more details in the coming weeks.

Perhaps there's a clue in today's release of Secret Wars #9?

Someone's back from the dead. How novel.

That's the #1 reason I stopped reading regular comics.

Can we get a discussion (or an article) about the final issue of Secret Wars? There quite a few things to talk about....

Calling it now: Wolverine, Captain Marvel and Thor unite to battle political correctness and regain their titles.

A great story would be that many are coming back, but that the longer they're back the more corrupted they become, eventually having to let go of all these beloved characters, except a few, and NOT all the ones you'd expect like Wolverine. I'd definitely keep him dead with Old man Logan and Inverted Sabretooth around. Hell I'd have them be the ones that have to kill him again after Laura can't do it!!!

@Fogs

When was it in comics when people died and they stayed dead permanently never to return? Cause for that to be the #1 reason you must have stopped reading long ago.

Oh god.

Oh god no.

Beware.

BEWARE.

For that is the beginning of the end."

What ever happened to the entire cast of Avengers Academy? They all kinda got washed away in MARVEL's bi-weekly reboots...

@ATrueHero1987, I just finished Secret Wars #9. Didn't really enjoy the series, tbh. I haven't been reading Hickman's other series, and felt that he did a poor job of explaining what was going on for people who don't know the specifics of his stories. I think the best event stories do nice job of serving as a culmination of other stories while still being accessible, self-contained stories.

I thought it was very anti-climactic. Especially after an 8 month build-up.
