Man-Thing has recently been serving as a means of transport for the Thunderbolts in the Jeff Parker penned series. At the moment, he's in some sort of hibernation seemingly preparing for the next stage of his evolution (according to Satanna anyway). Well, it looks as if whatever the latest iteration of the character is, he'll be getting his own series in June's Infernal Man-Thing. Bleeding Cool don't have any further details as of right now, but have a great track record when it comes to comic book related scoops such as this one. Another rumor doing the rounds is that Thunderbolts will soon be coming to an end, although the title will keep Parker as writer with the same numbering and a different title - could this be it?!

They talked about this on the show Comic Book Men a few weeks back. Talking about the old comic "Giant Size Man Thing". Saying how someone had to have put that name out as a joke and they just ran with it...

I'm down for a Man-Thing series, unless it's $3.99 an issue and written by Bendis.

Bit disappointed that Thunderbolts may be ending but I've been disappointed with the series lately anyway....

Hate him, bores the crap out of me. I don't care if he was created JUST before Swamp Thing, he showed what could and should be done with that type of character.

Simply one of the worst names for a charactor in any medium. And if my Man-Thing was all green and slimey like that, I would go right back to using the topical creams in my medicine cabinet.

If it's half as good as Snyder's Swamp Thing I'll check it out.

I love me some Man-Thing. *ahem* I mean the ya know, the character. Especially that little 11-issue run back in the late 70's/early 80's.... Whoever did that crappy Man-Thing movie should be hung.

It looks like a pointless concoction of the worst parts of Animal Man and Swamp Thing in the Mighty Marvel Manner.

@NoRegrets - And wasn't Dr. Strange surprised when he learned that it was Man-Thing who was the Guardian of the Nexus and not Strange and that Baron Mordo was going to kill him after all.

Why keep the same numbering. Marvel likes to cause collecting confusion!
