There are big changes afoot in the Ultimate Universe following the death of Peter Parker. The following preview from Ultimate Fallout #5 drops even more hints about the direction the universe will be taking from now on, including a possible explanation for the different Captain Britain we've seen in various previews!

What will become of Captain America? Where have all the X-Men gone? And what is up with the new Spider-Man suit? Don’t miss the final chapters of one of the most talked about Ultimate events ever.

not happy with peter Parker dying and this new kid trying to be spiderman but comic companies always do this to increase their sales, stupid decision coz later on 2-3 years later they bring them back to life.

It gives movie directors an easy out if they want to change something in their movie that they don't like in the 616 universe and still get to say it was in the comic books. Could you imagine if Mile Morales came out before they cast Garfield as Spiderman. You know they would have jumped on the race change.

"nerd" Hulk? LMAO Why didn't HE get spider powers. I would have read ultimate without question if "nerd" Hulk got bit by a radioactive spider. Haha

@jimyajam1991- I wouldn't really say that about Ultimate SM. It was exciting and fresh in the beginning. I lost interest after a while and Ultimate Goblin was horrible. I am now fearing that he will be in Ultimate Spidey cartoon. Not everything that Bendis sticks in that comic is a good idea. I picked up the clone saga cause I wanted to see how it was handled and despite not really liking the set-up and the Doc Oc as Magneto-ish thing I liked the clones. Wasn't too impressed with the Knights saga and I think that was the last arc I actually read.

Ultimate FF at the beginning was interesting. Card's Ultimate Iron Man was awesome. Although not like 616 at all I really enjoyed the actual creative take on some of Tony characteristics. The whole, entire body skin is brain tissue, that was intriguing.

On a side note. WHY are so many characters in Ultimate suddenly mutants? I did not like that Wasp was a mutant. And her side-effects . . . really. lol I just realized everyone points out Fury being black but I never hear how Wasp is Asian in the Ultimates.

MrEko - Was it one of those type of deaths in which you really couldn't tell he died and he'll obviously come back in future issues?

At least 616 Peter parker did not take 10 years to turn 16 only to die shortly after.

ummm..Ultimate Spiderman wasn't always 16 ..tehy drew the characters older in the beginning of the series .. they changed it after ultimatum. from ultimate spiderman to Ultimate Comics Spiderman. And didn't that say along time ago that any character in the Ultimate Universe dies they don't come back ??. wasnt itthe whole idea behind this universe. ?? and why is hulk a vampire ??
