The Avengers have left the planet, preparing for war against perhaps the most powerful foes they have ever faced. Thanos and his dark forces have descended upon an unguarded Earth in search of a mysterious prize. Black Bolt and the Inhumans must contend with a threat to their very way of life. The biggest comic book event of the year kicks off this August in INFINITY #1 by Jonathan Hickman and Jim Cheung.

The cover is beastly, but I'm not sure if I am ready for another Marvel event.

Awesome cover, but I'm only enjoying X-men comics at marvel atm. Hopefully this will be good.

@DrDoom Events don't suck, but Marvel has just been flinging out events that "will change everything" but have no substance.

I believe Thanos looks a bit cosmically constipated lol

The infinity gauntlet would be needed to wipe away the aftermath of the tremendous turds of Thanos hahaha

Siiiiiiick cover by the way!!!!

Stay classy comic book movie! ;)

Still not feeling the Blue eyed Thanos. They need to bring the soulless pits back!

Dang!!
Love Kubert's art but he's only doing the cover??
Isn't that the worst?
Like when Alex Ross does a cover and you're excited to have your eyes melt off page by page, get it, and it's some unknown filling in for the series run or some nonsense.
Guess the good artists cost too much $CRILLA.

@thatiscrazy - So would I. But I dunno, maybe they're trying to match the appearance to what we've seen from MCU Thanos? If I remember right, he didn't have the soulless eyes either.

Amazing cover.
I AM looking forward to this story. I can't get enough Hickman.
HOWEVER . . .
Marvel has no room for the likes of Attuma, Circus of Crime, Super Adaptoid, Arkon, Claw, Torgo, or The Serpent Society.
If you can't conquer the metaphysical multiverse, don't bother knockin' on their door. They'll just refer you to Cloak and Dagger.

I give an event 3 issues (if I'm interested in it to begin with). If after that nothing of merit has happened or I"m bored, boom goes the dynamite. After 3 issues of Age of Ultron I dropped that business, especially after I found out Hickman was writing Infinity. And I'm out for Tinity War over at the DC.
