Starting to get tired of Fear Itself. How many tie-ins? like a 100. Just give me issue #7 and be done with it. I like Schism so much more. Fear Itself is tied with Spider-Island and that's not good.

@ Fantomex

Yeah that keeps it simple, but it wouldn't bother me if they had more tie-ins as long as it was a main series issues like Legacy (or after Schism #5 i would say bring back) New/Young X-Men). So long as they dont make 30 "Schism - ******" issues it's all good.

That's the Marvel Universe since Avengers Disassembled: Brooding and Depressed. Nothing but heroes infighting, cities being completely flattened every six months or so, and villains running rampant and either getting away with it or only being punished for a year or so (see Norman Osborn). For the last decade Marvel's universe has been one dark, depressing place to "escape to". Not sure why any one really would want to any more.

Well on the bright side, at least Cap got a new shield! What happened to Thor?

I think Marvel needs to pull a DC and reboot...

@BmanHall

Hey if the trade is just the 7 main issues, go for it, it's not THAT bad, just don't bother with any of the 35 tie-ins.

But yes, Schism is MUCH better.

Sin: another example of a lady with a hot body and ugly face!

I've been reading Fear Itself and I enjoy it. Most of the tie in's are totally unnecessary to understand the story. All you need are Fear Itself, Iron Man, The Avengers and Thor. The stuff from Spider-Man, Wolverine, etc etc are all unnecessary.
