Spidey seems out of place in that picture.

OK.

I read comics all the time but I'm not caught up. WHY are they fighting?

Other than that, seems pretty sweet.

@asterisk

The specifics haven't been revealed yet. But generally speaking its about the Phoenix force coming back to Earth. The Avengers and the X-Men know it's going to Hope, and they have different opinions on how it should be handled.

Oh, ok. I thought it had something to do with The Phoenix Force, but I didn't know if Jean was coming back or something.

They're laying it on pretty thick that Hope will be/attempt to be taken by/ the Phoenix, but hell, you never can tell with Jean Grey, lol.

Lots of posturing... grrrr-ing at each other... swings, punches, and bruises... and in the end.. awww.. we are all friends again.

bleh

Why not have them fight like.. um.. let's say.. who knows.. like maybe.. villains? I know.. crazy idea.. I'll shut up.

The Q&A thing is pretty lame. Does Marvel need to lower themselves that much in a desperate bid to get anyone to buy their books? Just get to the story! The idea of Iron Man fighting Magneto is pretty damn interesting. I want to say I've seen them cross paths before, but don't recall exactly when.

One more thing- since when is Namor a mutant? I'm aware he's been hanging around with the X-Men, but I don't recall him ever being established as being a mutant.

Is this event over yet? Has it even started? Can we get back to regular comics now?
