The female Thor isn't there for some reason...

From what I read in the reviews, this Marvel event is not good. Glad I skipped it.

It's an odd event. *****spoiler****** scarlet and strange cast an inversion spell that makes killers think they are good but they still aren't and heroes have villain tendencies. It is an awkward read...

Bucky is the only other person allowed to wield the shield, seems to have gone to falcon's head already. Not to mention...I THOUGHT THIS DAMN EVENT WAS FINISHED!

Can't wait to find out at what point Sunspot buys up A.I.M. and Cannonball moves to the Shi'ar homeworld with Smasher to raise their baby.

How long did it take for Thor to grow his beard out?

While the X-Men called for war against humanity.

Sigh. Of course they did. :/

It kills me when these events aren't even a straight read. You have to buy so many off shoots to know what's going on or it seems very bland. Everything's a crap shoot too when you go digital. No fan through some pages to make sure it's a good read. This one, even with Apocalypse and Red Skull, just feels so throw away. Darn.

As much as I love Marvel, this "Event" F*cking sucks!!

Yeah. For the sake of the plot, Havok is going to bend over to the Avengers because "Blacktain America" said so. Kayyyy.

It's actually looking like that's exactly what they are going to do next summer with their big Secret War event since it involves crossing over with both alternate universes and past events.

They need to do less events that involve every character they have.. Those huge team ups should be saved for special events only.. Get back to letting characters have singular story arcs that focus on them and their immediate "world".. Too many events these days and they all seem pretty much the same.. Can't we get some new villains or an original motivation for a villain?.. It's always "I want to destroy/rule the world".. Marvel needs to develop their villains a lot more and add some real layers to these guys..

So glad I'm not reading this giant mess. I'll stick with Daredevil, Thor god of Thunder and Uncanny X-Men. Since Battle of the Atom, Marvel's events have been really sub-par.
Oh, well...

All you guys that are tired and weary of event, you should just do what I do. Be selective of what events you read. Only read them if they pertain directly to an ongoing series you are reading-and I'm not talking offhanded tie-in spin-offs.

I tried out Age of Ultron and ditched it in 3 issues and never looked back, only picking up the highlights later online. I read Infinity because I've been dedicated to Hickman's Avengers and New Avengers and knew it would be relevant. I never read Inhumanity. I'm still considering whether to read Original Sin but I've heard good things about it so I might read it for fun-not because I feel I must. And I have zero interest in this event so I have no plans to read it.

And there you see, I have no "event-fatigue". I don't feel the need to eat all the candy Marvel throws up in their shop window.

To me the inversion has been funny as heck to me. Captain America falcon punching Fury, the heroes not caring about anything but themselves. The X-Men declaring war on humanity. Carnage saving people by chopping limbs off. While i do admit for some without the IQ to deduce what happened at the end of #3, Rick could have done a better job of explaining what the heck was going on. But if you just read it you know something is wrong. Cap Falcon isn't just being a jerk for the heck of it.
