I like that Miguel is actually getting some screen time these days. Also...he is the one who should defeat and unmask Ock. I'm rooting for O'Hara and I hope he really [frick]ing kick Ock's ass and bring the Peter we all know and love back.

"I just hate that Superior Spider-Man fans pretty much always have to win an arguement. If you don't read the book weekly and spend money on, they say you don't know how good it is, read it and you will. then if you do go out and buy a few issues and complain how bad it is they say "well then don't read them" or "well you keep giving them your money and all you do is complain about the comic, they are winning" i'm sorry, choose one arguement, if you want me to fairly judge a freaking comic book dont attack me when i say its stupid and that i shouldnt have bought it then go around telling me if i read it it would be good. [frick]ers."

Well put

it's not that superior spiderman fans have some quality that makes them the way you see them, it's probably that those who enjoy SSM are tired of the constant whining and bitching by people who haven't read it or have and just want to complain more. I'm not a SSM fan, nor a spider-man fan, but christ I am so sick of the personal attacks on Dan Slott and the CONSTANT NEVER ENDING complaining by idiots who think their opinion matters.

Peter can stay away forever for all I care. I'll take SpiderOck and Miles over wimpy-man any day. Never was a Spiderman fan until they got rid of Peter Punk-er.

@charlie2094 really a shakeup like this was necessary huh? if joker became batman we'd all be [frick]ing pissed. don't spew stupid shit like that because you like the title. it means slott ran out of actual [frick]ing ideas and went drastic. it's like watching a tv show, and waiting for someone to die who deserves it. then the [frick]er doesn't die until the following season or the season after that and you [frick]ing rejoice, that the bullshit has stopped. and yes i've read the title, i've read every single issue. and it still sucks. don't get me wrong there are some interesting things he tries to do, but pretty much he has raped the legacy of peter parker. it reminds me of how marvel constructed the rape of ms. marvel back in the 1980. and superior spider-man fans are just letting this go by without so much as even thinking about the fact.

@Charlie2094- I can understand shaking things up (I'm a longtime Spidey fan, and I think Miles Morales is one of the best things in the franchise's history.) However, the difference between that and this is that Peter's death wasn't gimmicky or cheap. He died like a man, like a hero, and in that universe, he's unlikely to come back. If they had the balls to do that in the 616, it would be an equal shock, and a much more enduring story than "brain swap, poof." And Doctor Octopus taking over Peter's heroic mission to sate is own ego is not believable or compelling (to me at least,) especially when you have to make Peter look less heroic to sell it. I've read some issues of Superior, and I tried to appreciate it, and good for you if you can, but it simply feels wrong to me. So until Peter comes back, my webhead is Miles. Nuff said.

Take out DocSpidey, put Miguel in the classic 616 red & blues for a while as a pallet cleanser (or as is, I love the look of 2099, as do many fans) then re-introduce a Otto free Peter just in time for the new movie.
