Goddamn.... Guys help me the [frick] out.

I'm looking at that Angel/Angela piece... It is scary how [frick]ing similar I draw my faces like that. Watching JonStar on youtube and reading Jim Lee's Uncanny X-Men helped me develop my style. Those were the two most inspirational people in my studying.

However, I can draw a dude, any pose, facial expression, clothed, nude, whatever. Cause I'm a guy. I look at myself, feel around to see where bones protrude and end, to get a better figure.

I'm not so much of a virtuoso at women... And I have practiced.... A Lot. I've read a plethora of anatomy books and everything. I can draw their face perfectly (Not to brag, just saying I have that down), I can draw their arms, neck, legs, all of it but their breasts. I mean, I get breast. They're as in the way as men's testicles. They're hard to control and cause a lot of problems, so if you draw them sagging, one bigger than the other, or anything, it's okay. But I want to draw them like this artist did to Angela. I'm not saying drawing big boobs. I'm talking drawing boobs and making them look decent, not lop-sided. I believe my issues lies within getting them to fit in with the torso and in between the shoulders and making an obvious difference in between "Okay, there is her boob, then a gap, then there's her arm." See? I, for some reason, can't do that. Her arm is always behind her boobs or something...

And I know it's from a lack of practice.... I'm about to tell the ol' lady to get naked and pose, and practice that, granted if she complies to being oogled at for a hour or so nude. LMAO

@TheGambitFreakIsBatmanOfCBM

Life drawing/kroki is the way to go, buddy. The best would be if an art class near where you live could hook you up with sessions, because a lot of those let you sit in. Sometimes for free.

The less ideal way is to look to a site, such as this one:

http://artists.pixelovely.com/practice-tools/figure-drawing/

You can set a timer there and it rotates in pictures. Alternate between the different time limits. Sometimes you just wanna do a super quick one to capture the overall flow and motion of a character, and sometimes you wanna work more on volume and mass.

I can also recommend Proko's channel on youtube, here. He's got a TON of super useful videos on there.

The life/figure drawing is essential though, for eventually subconsciously picking up on what basic strokes makes a figure appear female or male.

Good luck, dude.

This shit happens when you leave the mansion. We'll they kind of know what would have happened but yeah drama.

This X23 and Cyclops thing is really odd to me. It's like Wolverine and Cyclops liking each other.

haha. Angel and Angela. And I'm curious, if the galaxy had such a problem with a Phoenix Force conduit, why didn't they all come for Hope? Better yet why didn't they all race toward Earth when they knew the phoenix was going there again during AvX? Like these questions really matter since they're damn fictional characters at the whims of their writer, but still food for thought.

Oh, man. If Cyclops and X-23 hook up, Wolverine is going to MURDER Cyclops.

I really haven't been a fan of this take on GotG.. the 2008 run spoke to me so much more.. I don't like what they've done with Star-Lord either.. really don't like the new costume. I miss his old mask so much, and he just feels like a completely different character.. more of a snippy kid then a witty brash tactical leader like he used to be. idk maybe its just me.. But bring back the helmet!!

Lol, Angel and Angela? Angel wants to hit that, but she's "shooting daggers" at him with her eyes.

Whoa, Cyclops and X-23 are hooking up... Wolverine isn't going to like that.

@riseoflogan IT IS!?! Shit!!! Sorry... whenever I have too much tequila, I whip it out for some reason... :P

@Alpha I don't have much time so I'm just reading Hawkeye and Uncanny Avengers. I think Hawkeye is great, I definetely recommend it! Uncanny Avengers is very good too and I've heard that people liked the new Black Widow series but I've yet to read it...
