All Carnage has ever cared about was...Carnage. Why would he even consider helping heroes? He wouldn't, it's 100% out of character for a lot of these villains, at most I could see Doom being there. Can't rule the world if someone beats you to it. Although, even his presence would be slim and highly doubtful.

Mixed bag when it comes to writing. Dead pool - "I guess carnage sounded cooler than red venom" - good! Enchantress - That's the kind of oversight that gets you uninvited to fondue parties - shit!

Looks good.
Looks different, enough.

How about you guys spend less time complaining about how they're 'ruining their books' and 'selling out' and actually give the stories a [frick]ing chance, ya [foo foo]s.

The dialogue is pretty rubbish.

@asterisk:

They are giving it a chance but at issue #3 of 9 if they are not feeling it than I don't think they are going to.

I'm not feeling it either. It feels like more should have happened by now?

Also I didn't read forever evil but obviously it's basically a big giant copy. Why should fans be interested in something that they have already seen?

@ManCalledSting- Yeah, it sounds like the Thunderbolts all over again. Kind of.

@GetsugaTensho22- I dunno. I kind of like this line: "The Hobgoblin! He's just like Green Goblin, except, you know, he's got more "hob"."

Maybe it's just because Hobgoblin has always been the poor-man's Green Goblin to me.

Vision and absorbing man made it on the roster, what a coincidence! *wink*

Man people these days are idiots. Axis, which is about a psychotic Nazi using the brain of a fallen hero to psychically initiated a second holocaust against mutants is exactly like Forever Evil, which was about a parallel universe version of the Justice League coming to their Earth to take over and amass an army of villains in order to prepare for the arrival of the Anti Monitor. It's like saying Trinity War is a ripoff of Civil War. If you were actually reading the event you'd know that the reason the villains can fight the sentinels and the heroes can't is because they were invented by Stark during the Civil War to be a contingency against all anti registration heroes.

Agree with everyone else Carnages characterisation seems off, why would he help the heroes
Magneto I understand but Carnage. Seriously Marvel

The best part has been Magnetos story leading up to the Red Onslaught.

@Sortis Carnage been screwed up ever since Deadpool was chasing him around. Found out his life wasn't so random and chaotic as he thought. He always followed a "crazy" pattern and never knew it.

Doing this is random and chaotic. That's how Mags sold him on the idea to join the group.
loki668
loki668 - 10/19/2014, 4:34 AM
^^ True. The first thing Carnage is going to do is the last thing you expect him to do (unless it's "kill people" because, ya know, he's always going to do that!).

@Josh Wilding

I'll go ahead and help you make some extra cash from this article:

You know what this comic has in common with MoS? Everyone's being saved by a psychopathic killer. ;)

Now, I feel dirty. Kind of whore-ish. Where's my cut?

@Jollem Never even saw it until you pointed it out. He would be the perfect Cletus Kasady. He's got the look and the acting chops to nail his character.

Marvel is shameless.

I've read the first couple of issues of Axis and Remender has lost it.
Frankly, he's lost it since the first arc on Uncanny Avengers.
