Cool cover. Wolverine is about to cut Cyclops head off though. Not sure how he can defend himself, lol. Even if he hits Wolverine with his optic blast 10 times or more, Wolverine will heal in like 5 secs. So yeah Cyclops is going to totally lose this one. Unless he has someone to back him up.

Wolverine would cut cyclops into 2 pieces before cyclops opens his eyes.

Why is Marvel having these shitty artists helping this event, specifically talking about Chris Bachalo and John Romita Jr. SMH,

Get some like these on this instead, Leinil Francis Yu, Adi Granov, Mike Deodato, Joe Madureira, Daniel Acuña, Andy Kubert, Sean Chen, etc.

@Sage

Yeah, but you're indirectly comparing the intellect of Cyclops and Nitro when you say that. I guarantee Cyclops (one of the greatest strategist in Marvel) would put his still reviving bones in a containment field and ship it into the sun. Or something way smarter than that even.

@thewolfx

suck it.

That just sounds like a hypothetical far-fetched scenario......Now how would Cyclops even be able to do that? As soon as his tissue was completely blown off by Nitro he completely healed back almost instantly.

As explained by Prof X once (if my memory serves me correctly) Wolverines healing factor has dramatically became more efficient over the years, becoming more adaptive to more serious injuries as he experienced them.

I like Cyclops as a full blown villain. We would then truly have witnessed the making of a villain over a 30+ year timespan.

As awesome as the fight seem looked in Schism I found myself bothered by certain details. First off, Wolverine wouldn't be able to get near Cyclops. All he has to do is look at him for goodness sake. But what I found dumb as when Cyclops got some hits (with his fists) with Wolverine that his hand didn't shatter right then plus Wolverine appeared to take blow by it. It just didn't make sense.

@0sagemode0- i still dont understand how he can heal from that when there is nothing there to heal. if there is no brain stem or some form of organic tissue then its just farfetched writing even for a comic book. i seriously hate how marvel has immortalized his healing factor.

if you cant kill wolvie then cyclops should just blast him down to bone and shove a metal rod into his skull letting him heal into a permanently "dumb" brain damaged person. i mean no offense with the word "dumb"
