I've recently read Maximum Carnage for the first time. You see, back in those days, things were right. Peter and MJ were great together. Of course, Brand New Day came along and destroyed over twenty years of continuity. Anyways, does part two of Origin of Species continue the epicness from part one? Read on.
While this issue wasn't as exciting as part one, it's still a good issue. The art is a huge improvement, the pacing is good, the dialogue is fine, and the action is good.
If Venom or Anti-Venom don't appear in the latter parts, I will not be happy. Anyways, I'm glad to see Doc Ock as the main villain so far. Heh, it would be cool if Mysterio took charge.
I am curious how this will end. I wonder if Lilly will become a good guy. I can see that happening.
In closing, this issue is very good. I'm hoping the Lizard returns.
I give this issue a 4/5. Part three of Origin of Species will be out in two weeks.
