Much better reading it! Id rather so a ANIMATED movie, will all the crap MARVEL cartoon movies you'd think they'd make great ones like these an be competition for DC!

i saw this same trailer at new york comic con in february! it looks really cool, but at the same time its just not the same as having the actual issue. i can't see digital comics completely taking over, and floppies going the way of the dodo. people think this will be the future of comics, i just don't see it happening.

thats funny, deadly genesis is known among fans as being one of the worst xmen stories ever. i personally liked it too, though lol. age of apocalypse is the best xmen story in history as far as im concerned!

onslaught would be cool! but i just cant see myself paying for this AGAIN. i already have all the issues of onslaught and AOA. i can't justify paying for it again just because now there's sound and semi-animation.

the cure aspect from X3 was taken from this story arc, but thats where the similarities end. this is a very good story, actually, the entire run is fantastic! some might even call it...astonishing? okay that was bad...

@ LEEE It's not that the motion comic is trying to replace real page-turner comics... it's just another medium in which they could tell stories with a cheaper budget than full on animation. And hey it looks cool and artsy.

Hey if they can do this with the big arcs and crossovers it would be cool. I hate x-men because it sometimes gets too complicated with the issues.

That Astonishing X-Men run was the one that really made me appreciate Cyclops. Whedon wrote him as a no nonsense leader who even Wolverine knew to back down from. That was also the book that really got me heavily collecting again.

I have the first issue of Astonishing and the trailer pretty much explained it. lol thats really all that happened in the first issue. Looks pretty cool.

@longbowhunter---- check out Clairmonts run on X Men with Bryne years ago, in my opinion it was the only run that did Cyke any justice. Once Wolverine grew in popularity the writers all forgot about Cyclops being the badass calm cool leader.

Motion Comic huh. Is that how they really look if so I like. It's a different feel than cartoons I like the grittyness if that's a word.

yeah, whedon does cyke justice. its funny, because most fans don't like cyke. he's easily my favorite xman. and if you read interviews with writers who have written on any xmen title, they will also say that cyke is one of their favorite of all characters to write. he's so layered, and such a cool, brilliant tactician, the likes of captain america. when it comes down to it, captain america always finds a way to do what it takes to get the job done, no matter what obstacle pops up. but cyclops had an answer for said obstacle 10 minutes ago, like he plans for every eventuality. lol. he's the man!
