@BlackJack20 - You're not the only one with that opinion. They were both AMAZING films in their own right. TDKR only marginally beats out Avengers for me because I like Bane asa villain more than Loki. Don't get e wrong, I like the character of Loki, I just don;t think he makes a good main villain. Also, the action in TDKR carried a lot more weight.

The dark knight is the greatest comic book movie ever to this day.

Joker:I think you and me are destined to do this forever.

2 face/Dent: You thought we could be decent men in an indecent time...you were wrong. You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain.

Gordon: I don't get political points for being an idealist, I do the best I can with what I have.

Batman: I'm Batman...oh wait he doesn't say that every movie or does he?

Interesting to see Dark Knight Rises high on a lot of people's list. I'm not judging. I love it, too. But I don't think I'd put it so high on any list. That ending still makes me crazy. I've not re-evaluated my top CBMs, yet, in the wake of Man of Steel, so instead, I'm giving my top 3 most anticipated cbms:

1. Batman Vs. Superman.
2. Guardians of the Galaxy.
3. Days of Future Past.

And the 3 I am most dreading:

1. The Crow Reboot.
2. Ninja Turtles.
3. Robocop Reboot (I know it's not a real cbm).

Ew, Iron Man 3 and TDKR are pretty high..those arent going anywhere on my list. Avengers and Dark Knight tho, those are well placed! hahaha. Good luck guessing if i am a marvelite or Nolanite [frick]ers.

Not sure the exact order of them all...but:

First place is Batman Begins.
Second place is Spider-Man 2.
Third place is the Dark Knight.
Fourth is really a tie between Spider-Man 1 and Iron Man 1.
Fifth is The Incredible Hulk.
Sixth has got to be X2, while Seventh is X1.
Eighth is The Wolverine.
Ninth and Tenth are Iron Man 3 and The Dark Knight Rises.

Honorable mentions to Marvel's The Avengers, Captain America: First Avenger, Man of Steel and Spider-Man 3.

What I find appalling about this list is that Amazing Spider-Man is above Spider-Man 1 & 2. {frick} no!!! That's just your opinion I guess, TASM was a decent movie but not THAT good.

By the way, your comment about TDK not being as enjoyable without Ledger. Well, Iron Man wouldn't even be half as good without RDJ, the X-films wouldn't be as good without Jackman. That logic doesn't work.

i'll probably think of another film & want to change my list again,but that is roughly my favorite comic book movies.

i would also give thor,the incredible hulk,iron man 2 & iron man 3 a good 3/5 rating but i think captain america is slightly better than the others i've mentioned.

That's a pathetic list. Can't some of the trolls look at that list and realize that the movies that they say are terrible don't deserve the comparison to these. TDKR or the Amazing Spiderman were excellent films. It may not have been everything you wanted it to be, but they're not bad films. I was disappointed with Iron Man 3, but it does not even compare to this list. Be grateful for what we get these days.
