LOL good one, Toast. I, for one, laugh'd my ass off at the editing, even though MrSundayMovies and RedLetterMedia wore it better. But it's a good suit, the juice is worth the squeeze.

Deadpool is more serious than we've been led to believe. Like I said. It's almost like somebody was filming a drama and then Deadpool hijacked the film right during the middle of it.

BvS is dropping that ugly desaturation filter that every sane person hated from Man of Steel sooo yeah...doom and gloom.

Unless I've missed something about the production or Deadpool's mythos, the film should have little to no seriousness in it. It looks to me like a film completely dedicated to insanity and jokes and crazed sword fights. I've not picked up one serious element from the movie whatsoever. Nor do I get the hijacking thing you're referring to.

I, personally, have never referred to a film's color scheme in relation to its message or genre. "Doom and gloom" sounds a lot more like destruction and sadness and anger (which the film clearly has a bit of) and not whether the colors are kind of not dulled now. Just a poor choice of words.

@PietroMaximoff

Not a poor choice of words at all.
Gloom:
1.partial or total darkness.
2.a state of depression or despondency.
3.have a dark or somber appearance.
4.be or look depressed or despondent.

Deadpool is a serious movie as in everybody but deadpool thinks the movie is real and are treating threats like they're actually threats. Deadpool is the only one able to break the fourth wall and therefore takes nothing seriously since he knows he's in a film.
