If you're anything like us, you can't wait for this deal between Fox and Disney to finally be over so that Disney and Marvel can begin looking at ways to integrate our beloved mutants into the MCU.
The X Men have had a long and interesting history in cinema. Practically beginning what is now commonly known as the Comic Book Movie Genre, X Men came out way back in 2000 and proved that our favorite spandex clad heroes could indeed be adapted to the big screen. X2 followed it up a couple of years later and was mind blowing at the time and still holds up well today. As the X Men grew in popularity so did the studios ambitions, planning out years worth of movies and spin offs before truly testing the waters. X Men Origin's: Wolverine was hotly anticipated and was quickly dismissed as utter trash. Spin offs were quickly shelved. After the release and unsavory reception of The Last Stand the series took a few years rest and leant instead on its most bankable hero Hugh Jackman's Wolverine.
A reboot with First Class saw fans believe again and a quick retcon of The Last Stand in Days of Future Past, a much requested storyline, saw the series stumbled its way forward. With the terrible Apocalypse in 2016 all hope was gone and a much needed rest was in order. That was until Logan came out in 2017. Rich, raw and powerful, this was a super hero movie without any heroes or the typical flash and balls. this was a down trodden, broken Logan, whose healing factor was on the verge of gone in a world that no longer needed him. A father and daughter road movie layered atop an old school western. Logan was a cinematic gem and showed that the X Men still had one more great film in the can, it just didn't require the actual X Men just the X Man that is Wolverine.
Once this deal goes through with Disney and Fox however, Disney will be out to recoup loses and make back a buck or two so naturally a recast of the X Men is in the books. With that in mind, who would star in a X Men movie set in the now heavily established Marvel Cinematic Universe? that is what we have set out to answer in our latest Recast video where we Recast the X Men.

RECASTS- This is where I take a new release movie and shift its release date by a decade or two and RECAST the movie with actors from that time.I also talk a bit about how I think the film would have looked and felt during that era and discuss who might have directed the movie and why.
5 THINGS STILL GREAT ABOUT- This is a new segment looking back at videos game of old and instead of reviewing them and pulling them apart for their dated graphics and game play, instead I look at what is STILL GREAT about the game.
