We recently delved into the fact that the solo Cyborg movie was supposed to be released this weekend after being announced in 2014, and the character's big screen future now remains as uncertain as it has been since Justice League arrived in theaters. While there have been rumblings about an appearance in The Flash, it sounds like actor Ray Fisher knows something we don't!
During a recent Twitch stream, Fisher teased fans by saying, "I know there are plans in the works. How privy am I to those plans? I cannot say." Could it be that the door is still open to a team-up between the Scarlet Speedster and Cyborg?
You have to believe it's possible, but it feels like nothing is ever set in stone with the DCEU!
When talk turned to Zack Snyder's "Snyder Cut" of Justice League, Fisher admitted that he hasn't seen that fabled version of the DC Comics adaptation, but he knows that it does indeed exist!
"Timing-wise, I don't think things have really worked out," Fisher said about why he's never been able to watch it. "There was one point in time where I was supposed to watch it, but some stuff came up and unfortunately it was not an option for me. Who knows? I might see it soon."
Snyder and Fisher remain supportive of each other on social media, so chances are the door is open to him getting to see Cyborg's original story arc for himself somewhere down the line. Now, we just have to continue hoping we'll receive a similar opportunity in the not too distant future!
