Despite rumors that
Cyborg would be appearing in
The Flash and that WB was rethinking his standalone film, actor Ray Fisher told the audience at his
City of Heroes special guest panel that his standalone DCEU film was still slated to hit theaters in 2020. The update comes by way of DC Comics fan and YouTube channel,
DC World.
This update also comes after many weeks of DC Comics fans arguing the merits of why the
Cyborg movie should become a
Teen Titans feature film. It was until the comic publisher's New 52 reboot of its product line that Cyborg became a founding member of the Justice League. Prior to that retcon (by DC Chief Creative Officer and DCEU co-Chief Geoff Johns), Cyborg was a key member of Marv Wolfman's 1980s
Teen Titans revival.
