Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, Deadpool tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.

Deadpool is directed by Tim Miller, and stars Ryan Reynolds (Wade Wilson), Morena Baccarin (Vanessa Carlysle), T.J. Miller (Weasel), with Ed Skrein, and Brianna Hildebrand (Ellie Phimister). The movie is scheduled to hit theaters on February 12, 2016.

So far it looks good, as long as they don't go OTT like some of the comics. Deadpool was great in X-Force though.

If they do incorporate Deadpool into any of the other X-films they should follow X-Force: have his crazy be played straight and his monologues seen as him just speaking into thin air. No direct 4th wall breaking.

Anyways people may claim to be ready for 2016 but I highly doubt it. It's going to be insane

I was thinking the same thing. The film was announced and completed in a day without any real set footage or synopsis. Every scene presented is associated with this freeway. It would appear to be a cheap fan-service film but FOX is into making money so I'd assume there would/should be more to show.
