There's a lot of intrigue surrounding Deadpool 3, particularly with Hugh Jackman set to reprise his role as Wolverine. Right now, all signs point to him and Ryan Reynolds' Merc with the Mouth embarking on some sort of Multiversal adventure, with the Time Variance Authority thrown into the mix for good measure.
Succession star Matthew Macfadyen remains one of the most intriguing additions to the movie's cast, and his character may now have a name: Paradox.
There is a TVA Agent with that name who first appeared in 2005's She-Hulk #3. He was one of the presiding judges during the trial of She-Hulk but ended up being erased from existence when he was hit by the Retroactive Cannon.
Like Mobius, we don't anticipate the live-action version having much in common with his comic book counterpart. It sounds like Wade Wilson ends up naming him "Bob," a nod to Bob, Agent of HYDRA and the first movie's interpretation of that character (where he was one of Ajax's henchmen).
Interestingly, this news comes after an alleged plot leak started doing the rounds online. We won't be sharing that here, but it's not hard to find and if it's even close to being correct...well, Deadpool 3 is going to be freaking insane.
Deadpool franchise vets Karan Soni (Dopinder), Leslie Uggams (Blind Al), Morena Baccarin (Vanessa), Stefan Kapicic (Colossus), Brianna Hildebrand (Negasonic Teenage Warhead), Shioli Kutsuna (Yukio), and Rob Delaney (Peter) are all also set to return alongside Reynolds in the threequel.
Emma Corrin has also signed up as a mystery character, while Loki star Owen Wilson is rumoured to appear as Mobius.
Deadpool 3 is set to be released in theaters on November 8, 2024.
