After Ryan Reynolds made headlines late last year during a seemingly innocuous interaction with the official Miss Minutes Twitter account, the rumor mill - and Reddit - quickly became abuzz with claims that the Time Variance Authority (TVA) would factor in a major way in the upcoming Deadpool 3.
Now, Above the Line reporter Jeff Sneider, during the latest episode of his The Hot Mic with Jeff and John podcast, is seemingly backing up those claims and adding that both Owen Wilson and Tara Strong will feature in the upcoming threequel as Agent Mobius M. Mobius and Miss Minutes, respectively.
He couldn't speak to the extent of their roles - or the absence of Tom Hiddleston's Loki - but seemed fairly confident that Wilson, who has a history with director Shawn Levy, will indeed appear in the film. The pair previously worked together on the Night of the Museum trilogy and The Internship.
Strong will, of course, provide the voice for Miss Minutes.
As for the film's plot and how Hugh Jackman's Wolverine factors in, Sneider notes that "Deadpool 3 is sort of Deadpool taking on the TVA," but didn't know much further than that, at least not at this juncture.
However, considering all of his time-traveling hijinks in Deadpool 2, it's probably not a stretch to assume that they'll want to have a word with him, which probably won't go well considering his history - and could potentially result in him going on the run throughout the multiverse, presumably dragging a reluctant Wolverine along.
