Many of you will know Ryan Reynolds best for playing Deadpool, but outside of his acting work, the actor is also quite the businessman. He heads up many brands (he invested in Aviation Gin in 2018 and, two years later, sold the company for $610 million) and, this year, bought into Renault's BWT Alpine Team.
After taking over Wrexham F.C. alongside fellow actor Rob McElhenney in a move which saw them promoted back to the Football League in April, he's now part of a group of Alpine investors which also includes Black Panther star Michael B. Jordan.
The goal is to take the Formula 1 racing team from its current place on the grid to fighting for the World Championship within the space of 100 races.
This weekend, F1 is heading to Las Vegas for a splashy new race which promises to be a star-studded event. Reynolds, already using his stardom to help promote Alpine, recently met with driver Esteban Ocon to unveil a special Deadpool-themed helmet.
While it doesn't appear to be based specifically on Deadpool 3, it's an awesome design and one which we're sure many of you will appreciate. Ocon is a big comic book fan and wore an amazing Spider-Man helmet at last year's United States Grand Prix in Austin, Texas.
Ocon is currently 12th in the F1 World Championship, while his Alpine teammate, Pierre Gasly, is 11th. Heading into the penultimate race in Las Vegas this weekend, Max Verstappen is already World Champion following the most dominant season in F1 history (to put that into context for you, he has 524 points compared to Ocon's 46 and Gasly's 62). The Alpine team, meanwhile, is 6th in the Constructors Championship.

Emma Corrin is expected to play Cassandra Nova, while Matthew Macfadyen will likely take on the role of a TVA agent named Paradox. It's also been confirmed that Jennifer Garner will reprise her role as Elektra, with Liev Schreiber, James Marsden, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, singer Taylor Swift (potentially as Dazzler), and even Loki's Owen Wilson expected to appear.
Deadpool 3 is set to be released in theaters on July 26, 2024.
