As many of us know, the theatrical version of Deadpool 2 featured a ton of X-Men characters, but based on some recently released concept art, we may have seen even more Marvel Comics characters appear in the film if director Tim Miller had remained on board.
Just earlier today, Alexander Lozano revealed artwork for the mutant Blaquesmith, who was set to appear in Miller's version of Deadpool 2. And now, the artist has shared more images that reveal Miller planned to bring in the Fantastic Four.
While the Fantastic Four film from 2015 was panned by fans and critics alike, the concept art below suggests Miller at least considered bringing back the main cast, as the artwork features Michael B. Jordan, Kate Mara and Miles Teller in their respective roles.
That said, it's also clear that he planned to give the heroes a new look, with the intention of making characters like The Thing look more like their comic book counterparts.
