In anticipation of the upcoming release of DEADPOOL, IMAX just released an exclusive featurette highlighting the incredible immersive experience that DEADPOOL delivers in IMAX. Join the film’s director Tim Miller as he discusses his love for comic books, inspiration behind the film and the epic cinematic experience fans will witness in IMAX.

“It’s a great honor to do a movie and to have millions of people around the world see it, but to see it in IMAX, which is this premier format, it doesn’t get any better than that.”
– Director Tim Miller

The IMAX release of DEADPOOL will be digitally re-mastered into the image and sound quality of An IMAX 3D Experience® with proprietary IMAX DMR® (Digital Re-mastering) technology. The crystal-clear images coupled with IMAX's customized theatre geometry and powerful digital audio create a unique environment that will make audiences feel as if they are in the movie.

Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.

Deadpool features:
Director: Tim Miller

Tim Miller should direct the X-Men films and a Fantastic Four film.

Anyone who knows about him and Blur Studios who have done all the CGI trailers for numerous Star Wars games, Halo games, Batman Arkham games, DC Universe Online games, and more knows how amazing he as at directing licensed products.

That one SW: Old Republic trailer with the 2 brothers told a better story in 5 minutes then the entire prequels.

@LEVITIKUZ - I could see him being the guy Fox depends on to breathe life into the beaten horse that is the Fantastic Four. On how well Deadpool performs, it can show he can do quite a lot with a smaller budget (at least better than Trank can apparently) so they might call him up for an F4 reboot or a sequel if they really want to push with their plans. Though, he'll probably be busy with Deadpool 2.

@Jamesmann - the real question is even if Tim Miller do a FF movie, who will go see it?

Fans and critics aren't interested in seeing FF anymore, even if they have a good director doing the movie

@JoJo1982

Of course that is the bigger question. I doubt he would since A. He's probably gonna be busy with Deadpool 2, and B. We don't even know if he's a fan of the F4 to want to work on a movie.

And you're right, as of now there is no interest in another F4 film but that doesn't mean you can't get people interested if you have a good product. I highly doubt Fox will sell the rights off to Marvel yet I also doubt they really want to wait another 5-7 years to do a reboot.

I really hope they get to a strong weekend opening, seeing it in IMAX was awesome, great movie, formulaic, yes, but seeing Deadpool on the screen finally gave me chills throughout, could've easily been more offensive though, lookiing forward to the directors cut when it comes out. Go see it in IMAX if you can, so we can get an even more awesome sequel!!
