Fans have set up a petition on Change.org to have Deadpool host SNL. Not Ryan Reynolds you understand; but Ryan Reynolds as the Deadpool character. As of now the petition has reached a very impressive 20,095 signatures, but obviously there's still no guarantee that anything will come of it.

There's no denying it's a fantastic idea, however, as the character has the potential to turn the show on its head with fourth wall-breaking asides and his trademark brand of humor - though toned down considerably for network TV. But that doesn't necessarily have to be too much of a hindrance, as Wade could use the opportunity to go on a rant about having to exist in a PG-13 world if he's ever properly integrated into the X-Men universe or something - the possibilities are endless.

Click HERE is this is something you'd like to see happen, and you can check out my 4-star review of Deadpool HERE if you're one of the few poor souls that have yet to see it.
