Rob Liefeld Offers More Hopeful News On DEADPOOL

Earlier today we had word from director Tim Miller on the status of the Deadpool movie. Now Liefeld also weighs in, says biggest roadblock at Fox is now gone and he's already met with Mark Millar.

Well, that's a bit more encouraging. Earlier today (click the link above) director Tim Miller provided an update that virtually meant nothing is happening with Deadpool at the moment. Well, Deadpool creator Robert Liefeld has chimed in with more upbeat news, stating that the departure of former Fox CEO Tom Rothman is one obstacle down on the path to bringing Wade Wilson to movie screens across the world. Liefeld also says that he's already met with Mark Millar & Tim Miller to discuss the project. Liefeld event went as far as re-tweeing a comment that says Deadpool will show up in X-Men: Days of Future Past! Are we seeing the first tentative steps towards seeing Deadpool ( I refuse to acknowledge the aberration we saw in X-Men Origins: Wolverine) on the silver screen?
