Over the past few year, Ryan Reynolds has proven to not only be the Merc with a Mouth, but also the Merc with a Heart of Gold.

Ever since production started on the highly anticipated superhero film, Reynolds has used his newfound abilities as Deadpool to grant the wishes of several young cancer patients by inviting them to visit him on-set and has even gifted them a few of Deadpool's trademark katanas. One such patient is Calista King, who he met with back in May and who you can learn more about HERE and HERE.

Check out the photo, of Deadpool (presumably) rescuing Calista's cat, below:

Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.
