Joseph Gatt has joined the cast of the live-action Dumbo movie, Deadline has learned. The actor, who's credit include Z Nation, Star Trek: Into Darkness and Thor, will be playing a character by the name of Skellig.

The story follows Colin Farrell's character, Holt, a former circus star who's life is turned upside down when he returns home from the war. Circus owner Max Medici (Danny DeVito) hires him to take care of a newborn elephant whose oversized ears make him the laughing stock of the struggling circus troupe. But when Holt’s children discover that Dumbo can fly, silver-tongued entrepreneur, V.A. Vandevere (Michael Keaton), and aerial artist Colette Marchant (Eva Green) swoop in to make the little elephant a star.

Dumbo will be released in theater on March 29, 2019.
