Tickets for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness officially went on sale earlier today (did you book your seat yet?), and to accompany the trippy IMAX banner that debuted with the announcement, new Dolby Cinema, Real D 3D and Screen X posters have been released.

It wouldn't be unfair to say that Marvel Studios' marketing team don't always put out the best posters, but we think you'll agree that this lot are pretty damn cool. We've also included a fan-made effort which pays homage to Raimi's horror classic Evil Dead, and it might just be the best of the bunch!

Check out the posters below, and keep an eye on CBM for plenty more Doctor Strange 2 coverage a little later today.

In Marvel Studios’ Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, the MCU unlocks the Multiverse and pushes its boundaries further than ever before. Journey into the unknown with Doctor Strange, who, with the help of mystical allies both old and new, traverses the mind-bending and dangerous alternate realities of the Multiverse to confront a mysterious new adversary.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Elizabeth Olsen, Benedict Wong, Xochitl Gomez, with Michael Stühlbarg, and Rachel McAdams. The film is directed by Sam Raimi, and Kevin Feige is the producer. Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Eric Hauserman Carroll and Jamie Christopher serve as executive producers. The screenplay was written by Michael Waldron.

The Doctor Strange sequel releases in U.S. theaters on May 6, 2022.

This movie has the only shot in 2022 to exceed Spiderman: No Way Home's first run.

Avatar 2 won't make more in it's 17 days of 2022 run.

The rumored re-release of SM with additional footage will bring the movie beyond $2 billion.

Considering how bad most movie posters are these days, these ones are pretty good.
