What If...? has reached its conclusion, so Marvel Studios is now free to concentrate on Eternals ahead of its release in theaters less than a month from now. We've already seen a couple of TV spots, of course, and they've now been joined by a very cool, star-studded banner for the movie.
Thanks to the pandemic, our first look at these heroes came in the form of action figures and promo art, and many fans weren't on board with those costumes as a result; however, they now continue to look better and better (Gemma Chan looks particularly awesome suited up as Sersi).
Once again notable by his absence is Kit Harington. Dane Whitman obviously isn't an Eternal, but fans are hoping he'll become Black Knight during the course of this adventure. If that is the plan, then Marvel Studios has clearly decided to keep it under wraps until Eternals arrives in theaters next month.
Eternals is the MCU's latest team-up, and features a group of heroes from beyond the stars who had protected the Earth since the dawn of man. When the Deviants, long thought lost to history, mysteriously return, the Eternals are forced to reunite in order to defend humanity once again.
Chloé Zhao directs Eternals, and Kevin Feige and Nate Moore are the producers, with Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso and Kevin de la Noy serving as executive producers. The story is by Ryan Firpo & Matthew K. Firpo, and the screenplay is by Chloé Zhao and Patrick Burleigh.
The movie stars Gemma Chan as Sersi, Richard Madden as Ikaris, Kumail Nanjiani as Kingo, Lia McHugh as Sprite, Brian Tyree Henry as Phastos, Lauren Ridloff as Makkari, Barry Keoghan as Druig, Don Lee as Gilgamesh, Salma Hayek as Ajak, and Angelina Jolie as Thena.
Eternals is set to be released on November 5.
