Early yesterday morning, Marvel Studios released the final trailer for Eternals. It's fair to say that we were all blown away by how amazing the movie looks, and the marketing campaign now rolls on with a couple of cool variant covers set to be released by Marvel Comics this November.
The fascinating mythology behind the Eternals is being explored like never before in the pages of writer Kieron Gillen and artist Esad Ribić's critically acclaimed comic book run. Just in time for the upcoming movie, the series will kick off a brand-new arc in Eternals #7, and these covers showcase artwork inspired by the highly anticipated next chapter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe mythos.
Crafted by all-star artists Clayton Henry and Alexander Lozano, these gorgeous covers depicts Sersi, Ikaris, Thena, and more as they were reimagined for their live-action debut.
Eternals features a group of heroes from beyond the stars who had protected the Earth since the dawn of man. When monstrous creatures called the Deviants, long thought lost to history, mysteriously return, the Eternals are forced to reunite in order to defend humanity once again.
We're starting to see more MCU-themed artwork from Marvel Comics, and it's hard not to wonder if that has something to do with Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige since he's now overseeing everything. Regardless, these are very cool and should be a must-buy for fans of the Eternals.
