Marvel Studios has pulled out all the stops for Eternals, and based on the limited footage we've seen from the next Phase 4 movie, it's going to be unlike anything we've seen in the MCU before now.
That's definitely the case with the team's costumes, and thanks to some new promo art, we get a much better look at each character's outfit. Something tells us these are going to look really special in action (the "final" trailer pretty much confirmed as much), and we're expecting to see these images adorn a lot of merchandise as we head closer to that November release date.
The standout here has to be Ikaris, a character many fans believe could be a game-changer in the MCU. Like The Sentry, he has the potential to be this shared world's version of Superman, but given his morally dubious nature at times in the comic books, Ikaris could be more akin to General Zod!
Eternals is the MCU's latest team-up, and features a group of heroes from beyond the stars who had protected the Earth since the dawn of man. When the Deviants, long thought lost to history, mysteriously return, the Eternals are forced to reunite in order to defend humanity once again,
Chloé Zhao directs Eternals, and Kevin Feige and Nate Moore are the producers, with Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso and Kevin de la Noy serving as executive producers. The story is by Ryan Firpo & Matthew K. Firpo, and the screenplay is by Chloé Zhao and Patrick Burleigh.
Starring Gemma Chan as Sersi, Richard Madden as Ikaris, Kumail Nanjiani as Kingo, Lia McHugh as Sprite, Brian Tyree Henry as Phastos, Lauren Ridloff as Makkari, Barry Keoghan as Druig, Don Lee as Gilgamesh, Kit Harington as Dane Whitman, Salma Hayek as Ajak, and Angelina Jolie as Thena, Eternals is set to be released on November 5.
