An Uncharted Fancast

An Uncharted Fancast

I was watching tv, bored out of my mind, and then god whispered an inspiring cast for a live action uncharted cast into my ear, now feast your eyes....

With the ever growing market for video game adaptions these days, I figure this will follow in the long list eventually, so why not take a crack at casting it....

Nathan Drake - James Roday/Karl Urban

Why: > James Roday - because of his wild, kid at heart personality which I'm sure you all have seen in his 8 seasons of psych, unless you don't watch psych..in which case you are forgiven, and may now go watch all 8 seasons....I'll wait. Also he looks the part pretty well.

> Karl Urban - Someone actually suggested this one to me once, and after laughing it off I went about my day, but after seeing him in Star trek I sort of saw the comparison, but now with his new show "Almost Human" on FOX I'm 100% sold on the casting choice. He has the perfect cocky, dry/sarcastic sense of humor in the show that captures Nathan Drake swimmingly,(did I just say swimmingly?) Now I know you may be thinking he is too old, but hey, I don't see how Nathan being portrayed a little older is a bad thing, still heck of a lot better then someone like Ashton Kutcher.

Victor Sullivan - Ted Levine

Why: Ted has that mild mannered, old man with war stories for miles, experienced in everything attitude in him, and as seen in Monk he plays that type of role great, plus yet again as will my Nathan Drake picks, Ted looks the part.

Elena Fisher - Anna Torv

Why: Well who better to play a sexy, smart, and loved video game character then a sexy, smart, and loved, (thanks fringe), actress like Anna, plus she is great in the action/adventure genre, (also thanks fringe), on top of yet again looking like the character she would be portraying.

Gabriel Roman - Neal McDonough

Why: Well you need a super blonde, nearly white haired man who has the chops to play a bad guy, and isn't actually all that old....I know just the guy, Dum Dum Dugan himself Gabriel Roman, he was the first thing that popped in my head, and the only choice I see for the role...well a side from Kevin Durand, but that's just because I want Kevin to get his big break as he is such a killer actor, wish I could have fit him in this cast somewhere.

Atoq Navarro - Jose Pablo Cantillo

Why: Yet again the only choice I saw for a role in this cast, it was just a "duh, gotta be him" moment here, who better then the baddie bad, trigger happy walking dead killer Atoq, it's just a good fit.

Eddie Raja - Byung-hun Lee

Why: Well confession here, I just wanted to finish the cast, couldn't find anyone to really fit this guy, and so I just slapped the first asian actor I thought of in here, though if he shaved his head I think it was actually work.

Great, Urban was an idea I had too. You should do 2,3 and spin-offs!

I don't like the Nathan choices but I can roll with them. Elena is a big no for me. Yvonne Strahovski or the voice actress who plays her I could see. Sully isn't too bad. Navarro is a Navar-No in my opinion. The actor for Gabriel isn't bad, and for Eddie Raja check out Reggie Lee.

Anything with Urban or McDonough is good by me. I wanted Urban to be the new Batman before Affleck was chosen

James Roday would be great for the role. I like Karl Urban as Drake as well, I wouldn't complain with either.

And it's great to see another Fringe fan.

@koolaidbag All I knew was that is was popular, and I loved it. Honestly I felt that the series was the TV Star Trek of the 21st century.
