Cyclops could hit Hawkman in the sky with his optic blasts so that neutralizes Hawks advantage right there

Deathstroke has beaten up on GL and the Flash at the same time, Warpath is peanuts for him

now is this supposed to be Nimrod or a regular Sentinel? if its a regular sentinel then I think Metallo could win if not then he's toast

as overrated as Wolvie is at times I think he could get in close enough to either BB to shish kebab them

Cyclops vs Hawkman - If Hawkman can find a way to get close, he would win. But I don't see how he can unless he has prepped for this. Cyclops will blast him as soon as the fight begins. Cyclops wins.

Deathstroke vs Warpath - I like Warpath and I think he has a lot of potential to get his feats built up by good writers. But as far as current feats go, Deathstroke outmatches him. Deathstroke wins.

Metallo vs Sentinel - Unless Sentinel has kryptonian physiology (j/k). No! Sentinel wins.

Jamie Reyes vs Wolverine - Another good kid. But Wolverine is finally going to get close to him and stab stab slash slash. How is it different from my assessment of Cyclops vs Hawkman? Experience, man! Cyclops would have none of it while Jamie is going to panic soon seeing Wolverine regenerate every time. Wolverine wins

Cyclops vs Hawkman -- as others have already said, Cyke can blast HM right out of the sky. And HM would be a fool to take Cyke on toe-to-toe. Who wants a face full of optic blast?

Deathstroke vs Warpath -- As hilariously over-rated as modern Wolverine is (see below) back in the '80s he convincingly beat the stuffing out of Warpath with his bare hands. Because while Warpath is super-strong, he's not THAT super-strong (2 ton range according to OHOTMU) but isn't especially proficient in h2h, relying more on his brawn and weaponry. But as DS has shown time and again, it takes more than brute strength and a couple daggers to bother him. Warpath would be short work for a tactician and fighter of Slade's caliber.

Metallo vs Sentinel -- the thing which enables Metallo to take on Superman isn't going to work against any opponent who's not Kryptonian. And Sentinels were designed to adapt to any super power they faced. It took only one to kill Colossus, for Pete's sake (heh..."Colossus"..."Pete"...) Metallo wouldn't last a heartbeat.

Jaime Reyes Blue Beetle vs Wolverine -- what little I know about JRBB makes me think he could take out Wolverine with minimal effort. Especially if we're talking rematch. Though I think that JRBB's weaponry is effective enough that he wouldn't even need to prep for a rematch. He outclasses Wolverine in every conceivable way. Wolverine would be toast before he could land his first punch.

I think Wolverine gets too much written credit as a fighter. Writers TELL the reader he's a martial arts master and an intelligent fighter, but nine times out of ten they SHOW us that all he does is talk some shit, pop his claws and throw himself head-first into a brawl, slashing willy-nilly with his claws.

Where's the martial artistry and combat savvy in that?

Jack -- that's my point. It's often stated in dialogue how highly skilled a fighter he is, how he's mastered several forms of martial arts. But we don't SEE that in his fights.
