Batman vs Gambit -- Gambit's another one of those characters I could do without, but credit where it's due. Bats would take the rematch but a first encounter, Gambit's explosive tricks would net him an easy win.

Batgirl vs Shadowcat -- As is usually the case when Kitty Pryde shows up in CBMFC, the ol' "can't hurt what you can't touch" rationale applies.

Solomon Grundy vs Wolverine -- as much as I dislike Wolverine, I think even the classic, pre-"immortal" Wolverine could handle Grundy. He held his own against Hulk in his first appearance yet, while his claws bounced off Hulk when they originally fought (despite the massive disregard of that fact in more recent fights) Grundy isn't as impenetrable as Hulk, and is a far site less cunning in battle. Sure Grundy would regenerate and come back to life later on down the road, but that would be after he'd already lost the fight.

Hercules vs Thor -- I go by the Marvel version of Hercules whenever the character shows up in CBMFC, because he's easily the most impressive and capable interpretation of the character in comics. That said, while Herc and Thor are basically even in strength, and while Herc is easily the more skilled h2h fighter of the two, Thor brings too many other tricks to the table. The power of Mjolnir, the lightning, the speed, etc. Herc would surely get a couple good shots in but really this fight lasts only as long as Thor allows it to, because once he brings down the thunder, it's game over.

Grundy has been a match for Superman, thats why I think he'd squash Wolverine, say what you want but as inconsistent as he is sometimes more often than not he's been able to knock Superman for a loop.

Batman - Because he's Batman.

Shadowcat - Kind of hard to hit something that can phase through anything.

Wolverine - He'd just stab Grundy repeatedly.

Thor - Lighting, plain and simple.
