With the production of the Dark Knight Rises we saw a small part of Robin, but Robin could've been used a lot better. 1. John Blake, who the hell is that. Out of all the five Robins to choose from they made one up.
2.Red Hood was a possibility, if they were going in the direction of Robin in the Dark Knight rises they should've followed the story of under the Red Hood. Batman Begins could've portrayed Dick Grayson the acrobatic circus star whose parents met there death due to a loose screw. Batman takes him in after of course training with Ras Al Ghul for 7 years. Then towards the end nof the movie Dick Grayson leaves Batman and then becomes Nightwing.
The Dark Knight movie had the Joker as the antagonist. Although Tim Drake was the next Robin after Dick Grayson, they haven't really been following the actual comic book story line so they really didn't need to. They couldve made Jason Todd the Robin in The Dark Knight and have him be killed by the Joker about half way through the movie but then reincarnated by Ras al Ghul as Red Hood but of course not showing that in the movie. Batman teams up with Nightwing to defeat the Joker. (P.S. Anybody else think that Gary Busey would be an awesome Joker. Not saying Heath Ledger was a bad one.) In The Dark Knight Rises they could've had Red Hood as the main antagonist not Bane. And then have Batman team up with Tim Drake defeat him. And at the end of the movie when Batman fakes his death have Tim Drake evolve into Red Robin as the protagonist in the next movie to defeat Bane and Poison Ivy.
These are all ideas I think would make an awesome trilogy, I know a lot of them don't follow the comic book stories.
