I apologize if this editorial isn't very long. I've been on a Doctor Strange kick lately and I've been trying to figure out, who should play him? Fan favorites have been the likes of Patrick Dempsey, Viggo Mortensen as well as others. But, they're both nearly fifty. While, my pick isn't exactly YOUNG, he's still a good actor (under rated in my opinion) and is known for playing a douche and more of the antagonistic roles. I think if given a chance, he would do the role good despite not having the comicbook look. That can obviously change though when they're in pre-production. My pick for Doctor Stephen Strange is.......... Stephen Dorff.

One thing about Stephen Strange before he became the Sorcerer Supreme is that he was arrogant and was broken on the inside due to the death's that would eventually be of his parents (yeah, yeah, we've heard of superheroes who have the same tragedy. Maybe they can change it to his sister like in the animated movie who dies). But yeah, arrogance is one trait that Dorff could play well if he was interested and given the role. I'm sure if given the chances, he would be able to play the broken, arrogant neurosurgeon. I really don't see where the downside to this casting would be if you ask me. He's a good actor, he's young enough to where he could stick around for at least three movies and I believe he can bring something special to the role that most of us probably wouldn't see. Doctor Strange is one of the more interesting and I want to say, supernatural (cause he deals with supernatural beings and powers despite using magic) characters in the Marvel Universe.
I told you this wouldn't be long. But, what do you think of this pick? Comment below with your thoughts? Could you see Stephen Dorff playing the Sorcerer Supreme?
