A comprehensive and extensive chart of the Batman logo evolution, spanning over 72 years from 1940 - 2012 to map the transformation of a timeless hero. Each poster is stamped and numbered by artist Cathryn Lavery from an edition of 500.

Is it just me or does the 2005 symbol for Batman Begins look wrong. I thought it was the same as The Dark Knights...

True that on the 89 Burton batman. She also didn't include my favorite, Miller's Dark Knight Returns logo. A true Batfan should've proofed this thing.

The Batman Begins symbol is completely wrong. It was the same used for TDK and the chest symbol looked like this:



Great idea for the poster, but pretty sloppy.

also all those batman logos are in a photoshop brush pack i downloaded a while back...that whole image probally only took about 10 mins to make and the majority of the time was just imputing the text.
