Hey there, SpiderMiles here, today I'm gonna tell you who I'd cast as the Fantastic Four if they were in the Marvel Cinematic Universe!
Before you talk about how young these actors are, keep in mind that they are intended to stay in their roles for years before they need to be recast.
Okay?
Now let's start with the F4 themselves.
Mr. Fantastic/Reed Richards - Matthew Gray Gubler (33)
This seems to be a popular choice, but I think it's for good reason. Now, he might not look that much like Reed Richards, but with a hair cut, he could. Also, he can act. If you've watched Criminal Minds, where he plays Dr. Spencer Reid, the character is a genius and I think has many Reed Richard-type qualities, and he just plays it so well. He is the perfect Mr. Fantastic.
Invisible Woman/Susan Storm - Abbie Cornish (31)
First things first, she looks a little like Sue, she's also blonde.
Now, can she act? Well if you've seen Limitless, where she plays the main female character, you'll know that she plays her role fairly well. I believe she is the right choice to play Susan Storm, as she can play the caring girlfriend, as well as do some action scenes.
The Human Torch/Johnny Storm - Lucas Till (23)
Look at the guy! He just screams arrogant hot-head! Not to mention that (I think) he looks like he could be Abbie Cornish's brother! Now, I know he was Havok in X-Men: First Class, but hear me out. He can act, he was pretty good in First Class, and when he calls Beast names? Yeah, that just SCREAMS Johnny Storm. He was also pretty good in Battle: Los Angeles
The Thing/Ben Grimm - Charlie Hunnam (33)
Now, this one was hard to find somebody for, as I had to find somebody who was not only similar in age to Matthew (Because Reed and Ben were in College together), but also somebody who can ACT! Now, Charlie was great in Pacific Rim, he was just great, he played a former pilot, not unlike Ben Grimm, who was kind of lacking in self worth and is depressed, like Ben Grimm is. He doesn't look that much like Ben Grimm, but that's something for hair and make up to fix!
