Please stop telling the same old tired ass story of "Superman" ! If we want to see his origins , we'll watch Richard Donner's version or google it ! Stop re-hashing and move forward !!! It's "Superman" !!! Supposedly the greatest super hero (not!) , it's about time to pull out all the stops and kick some ass . Or mabe they keep spoon feeding us the same tired ass story because they're just now finding out what we have already known for years ..... The character "Superman" is bland and wack !!!

Rebooting the franchise could have alot of potential...Unless,you would like a sequel to Superman Returns? or maybe a semi-reboot (is that even a word?) like the Incredible Hulk or the Punisher WZ?

Now that I look at it...Brolin doesnt seem like a good choice...Maybe I should add Topher Grace-->Skinny venom (insert sarcasm)...How cool would a Superman musical be? (yes,that was sarcasm!)

@gambit ace of spades, you don't need a photobucket account to post pictures on your articles what i do is just find a pic i like on the internet and save it to "my pictures " (don't worry if you don't want to keep them you can just delete them later) then go to create a new article and click on the images embed code thingy which should give you the choice to upload a pic, click that and choose the pic you want. If it's some weird adress then it might not show up, so always check. But regarding your choices I think they're pretty good, don't like the Lex choice but Luke Goss and Josh Brolin fit thier character's perfectly. Josh Brolin = the perfect Punisher though ;) not bad.

@Gambit. I loved that book! Well written peice of fiction by Kevin Anderson.

I'm not to crazy about the cast:

DOn't care for:
Bomer for the role.
SHia Labeoafaf would not be a good Jimmy. I don't like Jimmy but I don't want the character dead.

Statham is terrrible in any thing!

Oh, and may I suggest Anne Hathaway for Lois?


Clive Owen is definately the best pick on here. Her is my second choice for the role, after Rufus Sewell.

I like Routh for the role he looks the part and he's a solid actor...in my opinion for that role. Get rid of Luther as the main villian and recast Spacey he was awful. The movie failed because it was basically too soft and loving. Superman flying outside of Lois's home with his heart broken to pieces...then later finds out he has a bastard son... great job Supes.
Casting in my opinion was the least of the problems for Superman returns...but I do like 80% of your casting ideas.

@HAWK...Bomer & Statham kick ass!...Superman Returns was like a sitcom...Anyone know any good Batman novels? Ive read Helltown with The Question etc...
