Directed by

-Matthew Vaughn (Stardust, Kick-Ass, X-Men: First Class)
Why? Well, he mostly is great at combining action with comedy but without making too much of an action-comedy. Plus, he's great at doing origin stories.
http://www.imdb.com/media/rm3336803584/nm0005303
-Kimberly Peirce (Boys Don't Cry, Carrie)
Why? Despite Carrie being her first big-budget film, she did an incredibly good job on making the character relatable, as well as likable. That is something that the director will need to do with Tasha.
or

-Jon Faverau (Iron Man 1&2)
Why? Despite being mostly a comedy director, he brought something uniqe with the IM films. He made them funny without overdoing and action-packed without it being too much. That is something I would like to see in the film.
Cast:
http://www.imdb.com/media/rm1308351232/nm4032297
Chloe Bennett as Tasha Stark
Why? Like her character of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, Tasha has a cocky-type of attitude. While it isn't to the extremes, it is pretty similar. Anyways, I chose Bennett for this role because I believe she can present Tasha's sarcasm to the big screen.

Ben Whitshaw as Obadiah Stane
Why? To be fair, this wasn't my first choice. Originally, I had plan on casting Jesse Eisenberg for the role but then I saw this film called Perfume in which Whitshaw plays a villain in. That along with his role as Q in Skyfall convinced me that he could work.
http://www.imdb.com/media/rm172086528/nm0430107?ref_=nmmi_mi_all_evt_7
Michael B. Jordan as Lt. Col. James "Rhodey" Rhodes
Why? I originally had Jamie Foxx in the role but I felt he was too old.

Kate Mara as Patricia "Pepper" Potts
Why? So, I've just started watching House of Cards on Netflix and Mara plays Zoe Barnes, a headstrong reporter. That part of the character is how I view Pepper. She's kinda like the serious older sister to Tasha.
http://www.imdb.com/media/rm849383680/nm0453641
Randall Duk-Kim as Yinsen
Why? To be honest, I've only seen him in Kung Fu Panda, where he plays a mentor type. But, I also think that even though this is somewhat the same role he played in that film, he could bring something different to it.
http://www.imdb.com/media/rm2204750080/nm0760796
Hiroyuki Sanada as Wong-Chu
Why? I've seen Sanada in few things here and there. But, it's mostly his role in The Wolverine as Shingen that convinced me.
http://www.imdb.com/media/rm3170095104/nm0092026
Ian Bohen as Aldrich Killian
Why? I'm a huge fan of Teen Wolf and on this show Bohen plays Peter Hale, a psudo-villain/hero type of character. When the story first intoduced Killian, I immediately thought of Bohen. On the show, depite him being a villian, Bohen makes the character likable and I think he can bring that senseablity to Killian.
http://www.imdb.com/media/rm1750528/nm0755603
Thomas Sadoski as Christian Everheart
Why? On The Newsroom, Sadoski plays a mangaer that's a bit of a douche and that's how I imagine Everheart. Especially after his first encounter with Stark.
http://www.imdb.com/media/rm1419677440/nm0126260
P.J. Byrne as Dr. Franklin Hall
Why? So, I've just recently seen The Wolf of Wall Street where Byrne plays a stock broker, who's a bit of a team player. While not to the extremes protrayed in the film, this is how I imagine Hall.
http://www.imdb.com/media/rm2914040320/nm1977856
Chin Han as Chen Lu
Why? Well, like Sanada I've seen Han in a couple of movies and tv shows, like The Dark Knight and Arrow. While Chu was more of a military type of character, I imagine Lu as more of a stratageist and I think Han can bring that part of the character to life.
http://www.imdb.com/media/rm1415685888/nm0755267
Katee Sackhoff as Ellen Brandt
Why? Even though, she doesn't match the physical description to a tee, I can definitely see her as Brandt.
http://www.imdb.com/media/rm83144192/nm0914612
Emma Watson as the voice of J.A.I.N.C.E
Why? To be fair, I originally planning on casting someone like Judi Dench or Julie Andrews. But then, Watson appeared in my mind. Yeah, she might might be a bit younger than I expected but I think it would be nice if she brought some of her Hermione's smart-aleck ness into the role.
So, that's my cast and crew for Iron Maiden. Hope you enjoyed it!
