John Noble as Darkseid could be really good. I'm thinking of his take on Alternate Walter/Walternate on Fringe and I can hear that regal menace coming from a CGI Darkseid.

I can see Hunnam as Oliver Queen playing both the wealthy narcissist Oliver Queen and the changed, hardened Oliver Queen. I"m not really familiar with DC characters, so I'm bases this mostly on the stuff that most passing fans know about Green Arrow.

I'm a Liev Schreiber fan so thumbs up to having him play any role in an extended Batman Universe. I think he the type of actor that would bring his A-game to any role and not belittle it because it's based on a comic book character. Plus it would put him at odds with Superman down the line (if I'm remember Metallo correctly) so yes to that.

I can't really weigh in on the other characters as I'm not familiar with them, but you've picked a lot of my favorite actors (i.e. Giancarlo Espisito, Carla Gugino, Michael Ealy) so, again, yes to that.
