Yesterday I watched Iron Man 3 and I wanted to share my thoughts on the movie.

Let's start with the Bad:

-War Machine got a paint job to represent the Iron Patriot which was influenced by Iron Man and Captain America however Captain America wasn't even mentioned.

-No major character died in the movie: They had a chance to killed off Happy Hogan as he was badly injured in the Extremis encounter.

-The biggest flaw of this film is: A major villain is wasted. We discover the Mandarin is actually a British actor named Trevor, who acted out all the threats of the Mandarin as he was really working for Aldrich Killain. He also could of been changed towards the end of the film. The Mandarin really feels like a serious villain in the trailers and TV spots but he was treated rather like a late April fools joke to the fans in the movie!

-The film is shown as "Iron Man 3" on Posters and in the Trailers however at the start of the end credits it shows "Iron Man Three" but not a big deal.

Lego fans will be disappointed with the Iron Man 3 Lego sets: Malibu Mansion Attack did not come with a Maya Hansen minifigure and the Mandarin was not in this scene but he is still included. Extremis Sea Port Battle did not take place in the film and the War Machine Armour is not seen in this film but is included in this set also Aldrich did have a speedboat in the film. This set could of been the "Plane attack" instead. Finally "Iron Man vs The Mandarin, Ultimate showdown" is not really an ultimate showdown in the eyes for Lego set or even in the movie. The Mandarin is not in this seen but rather is Aldrich Killain claiming he is the Mandarin and Tony Stark does not were the Heartbeaker Armour. All these flaws in the Lego set could of been to not reveal the films plot, make you buy all the sets (Bait and switch) or maybe they are based on the original story of the film?

This movie does have these flaws but is made-up by the good aspects of the film:

-Iron Man 3 has plenty of fast-paced action scenes, the 3D makes them pop!

-This movie is serious but also has more laughter between characters.

-Very good story with twisted scenes: One minute your laughing the next your shocked.

-Other movie franchises lack beating the previous film however this film defiantly beats "Iron Man (2008)" and "Iron Man 2 (2009)" an in my opinion could of beat Avengers (2012) if the Mandarin was portrayed as a main villain tearing Tony's world rather Aldrich Killain being a henchman of the Mandarin.

-It defiantly is a summary of both Iron Man (2008) and Iron Man 2 (2009): Tony goes back to basics with him working with lose objects after loosing his home (Like he was in the cave in Afghanistan) and he teams up with Rhodey once again to take out the bad guys.

-The producers kept a very big secret of the Mandarin story in this film, fans did not expect it coming.

-The 3D is just mind-blowing, every scene is 3D, it feels like your really in each scene.

-Tony Stark sends all his armours to battle the Extremis Soldiers (Showing he has to give everything he got to battle it out for the ultimate showdown)

Overall this film is still great due to the flaws, but is made up with all the great action and comedic scenes. This film deserves 8.5 out of 10.
