With Man of Steel on the horizon I decided to make a fan cast for the member of the Big Three that gets no love.
Wonder Woman is a fictional DC Comics superheroine created by psychologist and writer William Moulton Marston. She first appeared in All Star Comics #8 (December-January 1941). It's time for this character to not only evolve her as a comic, but also in other forms of media. Which is something DC has failed to do properly over the years. The only consistent thing they've done with WW is fail to bring the character justice. This is the movie I would like to see if DC/WB developed the gonads to produce a Wonder Woman film.
CAST
GINA CARANO AS WONDER WOMAN
The only actress I think who can capture the physicality of WW is Gina. For all the movie magic in the world I can't picture any other actress handing Superman or Batman his ass in a fight. Shes supposed to be arguably the most skilled fighter in the DCU. Taylor Cole & Lynn Collins are hot, but it ends there. When the character has to fight or gets physical it'll look like an episode of Xena. To avoid that the real deal is needed. and Gina is that!
CHARLIE HUNNAM AS STEVE TREVOR
AMBER HEARD AS ARTEMIS
ANGELINA JOLIE AS CIRCE
OR
CARRIE-ANN MOSS AS CIRCE
LUCY LAWLESS AS HIPPOLYTA
HUGO WEAVING AS ARES
What Hugo is capable of with voice alone is insane...
LEE PACE AS HERMES
CREW:
Director:
Tarsem Singh
Movies: Immortals, The Fall
Tarsem has in my opinion one of the most unique visually stunning directing styles. There's nothing I have ever seen from him that didn't look visually short of amazing. Immortals literally looks like a painting in movement.
