Moon Knight Fan Cast

Sever88 casts the live-action Moon Knight movie!

OK this is my first fan fic cast so bare with me. I think Milo Ventimiglia from Heroes could pull off this character very well, Moon Knight is a very deep character and a little twisted. Milo has the acting skills and I believe he could be one of the dedicated actors to make this character come alive.

And for the villain,I wasn't really sure, but I think The Taskmaster would be an awesome fight to see. This actor could definitely pull off the fight scenes as well. So I chose Jason Statham as Taskmaster

SEVER @ Dude, this ain't much of a cast lol!

KUDOS on TASKMASTER! Why have you got BATMAN BEYOND up there lol! (Just joking).

Don't like either choice. Ventimiglia is too young for MK, and I flat out hate Statham as an actor.

i would say james franco for moon knight...
he's a great class A actor who can diversify the characters he is playing. he also has the look of marc spector. but.....
he already played harry osborn in the spider-man films and i do not know when a moon knight film could get under way.
especially since disney now owns the rights to 5000+ marvel characters.
i would actually consider statham for raoul bushman, mk's oldest and fiercest nemesis. he has just the right hint of a foreign accent to pull it off.
taskmaster as portrayed in the moon knight series: the bottom, should be good at what he does. unfortunatley, moon knight is better. taskmaster from what i have seen can be viewed as a comic relief in many respects like when he gripes to employers about the cost of his equipment or like during civil war, when sue storm goes all out on him for shooting reed.
i would say nick chinlund, who is better known as toombs in riddick and mcgivens in zorro should play taskmaster.
he is intimidating and knows how to be the comic relief without being the comic relief.
also, let khonshu in the first movie be a disembodied voice that moon knight believes is a voice in his head. let the audience think that spector really is mad.
then in a sequel, after moon knight defaces bushman, let statham be the body of khonshu with a different voice. let nick nolte be the voice.
he has that gruff demonic essence to his voice that add extra creepiness to khonshu.

SEVER @ I think MARVELS still got their thumbs in their asses lol! Not funny really, they should've done it by now, they ain't the quickest when it comes to LIVE TV dammit!

Adrian Pasdar (which now is quite funny, now i come to think of it lol, their brothers in HEROES) : D

Hey have you not seen my 116 AVENGERS CAST??? Just google that if you fancy a look dude!

Damn i hope MARVEL hurry up with that tv show, how long have we been waiting lol??

But you know i do like MILO or i wouldn't of picked him for the BATS BEYOND cast, he would make a good MOON KNIGHT too!

Again TASKMASTER is perfect, thumbs up! ; )

TYLER @ You hate STATHAM as an ACTOR but love TACKLES???? Well that says it all lol! : D

Yes, because Statham plays the exact same character in every one of his movies and he just sucks at acting. You can't compare Ackles to Statham, and you know it. You're just searching for reasons to bring up the Ackles argument now.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan = Moon Knight

TYLER @ Okay him for a movie!

But mine for TV series!!! ; D

But seriously STATAM has many HIT MOVIES!!!

Ackles just has a couple of flops????

An no way in hell is ackles a great actor, he belongs in tv land dude, with the odd cameo in movies!

STATHAMS the [frick]ing man!!!

Just because Statham has been in some movies that have done fairly well at the BO doesn't mean he's a good actor. Plus, most of Statham's movies have been poorly received by critics, but you obviously don't care about that, all you care about is box office.

My Bloody Valentine wasn't a flop. It was a success, considering it's small budget.

And I found something interesting. On one of Josh's Ackles articles you said, and I quote,

"joob @ SUPERNATURAL an SMALLVILLE are great man though i was really dissapointed in the finale of SMALLVILLE very very pi$$ed off with that lol! Should've been one of the best episodes ever, oh well, im getting used to let downs since WARZONE an WOLVIE now lol! WATCHMEN has ruined me! : D "

LEEE, define 'Hit movie' lol, because I think you interpret it as a hit regarding just your own personal taste. Statham is entertaining to watch cause the guy kick's ass in combat, but an actor of the finer kind, he is not. And he isn't even a box office draw, people don't go to a movie saying, "Oh snap! I just gotta see the new Statham flic!" Have you seen the Transporter movies? The 1st one was 'meh' but after that, my god, all I can do to watch those is sit in a Doobie-induced stupor.

Tyler, I have a movie for you to watch, and I'm sure you'll like it, unless you have something against Guy Richie. 'Revolver', awesome movie, Statham is the main character, and he rocks it. I don't know if that film was even in theaters, but it is a thinking mans movie and has shown me Statham at his very best, and it is good. But methinks he is only capable of such with his buddy, Ritchie, holding the reins.

MBV3D was what convinced me the new 3D film tech was worth seeing, it was great, one of the best movie experiences I'd had in years based just on the effects. My favorite scene was when Ackles and King wreck that Jeep into a downed tree and the trunk shoots straight through the vehicle, it was awesome 3D stuff. As far as acting, I'd never seen Supernatural before that, and now I have, because Ackles was AWESOME and so was his counterpart, Kerr Smith. Those 2 did their job very well, and kept me guessing through most of the movie, and I'm one of those deuchebags who can generally spot the killer in a 'who-dunnit' in the first 15 minutes.

Thoughts: I wonder if LEEE has a deeply seeded, homosexual attraction to Ackles and it confuses him greatly, causing him to spurn so much hate lol ;P (joking with you homey)

I was wondering what you guys would think is better?

Would Moon Knight work well as a Smallville type TV show (except done well and closer to the comics without all the teen angst) or a movie or even a movie trilogy?

flames809 - 9/6/2009, 9:26 PM
myth@actual ppl go to see Statham when he has a movie out

@ dancing monkey:
from what i have read of moon knight comics, they are extremely dark, violent and gruesome.
the last time marvel tried to cash in on a live action tv show was the blade series. and i honestly didnt care for it that much.
there are certain levels to moon knight that i feel would not be appropriate for television. studios have to follow certain protocols when displaying a tv series and i think moon knight would break almost all of them.
to see moon knight to his fullest potential, i feel a movie franchise would market his abilities better.
but that is just me.

MYTH @ Heh heh! ; )

@LEEE I just can't see Adrian Pasdar playing a character like Moon Knight or Batman. His face just annoys me. @InTylerWeTrust I think that guy could probably pull it off also, but looking at it now Gerad Butler could make this badass! And pull in the lady viewers.
