So before I finish up the second part of my dragonball fancast I thought I would try to cast Mortal Kombat. Here are the results, enjoy!

Liu Kang: Aarif Lee

Why: Lee just played Bruce Lee in his last movie Bruce Lee: My Brother. So he has the basic Kang fighting style down (based on jeet kune do) and he's a great actor so this would be a great chance to break out onto the international scene.

Johnny Cage- Jensen Ackles

Why: Ackles is a great actor and deserves a chance to break out on the big screen!. I love his character in Supernatural which I find very similar to Cage, just not as cocky haha.

Sonya Blade- Blake Lively

Why: Despite the teen flicks shes made I think shes a fairly decent actress and has the right look.

Kung Lao- Hangeng

Why: When it comes to acting he's pretty much a rookie, but he does show promise so I'll give him a chance.

Sub Zero (Kuai Liang)- Jay Chou

Why: Originally I wanted Chou as Kung Lao but overall I think he and Byung Hun Lee can pass as brothers.

Scorpion (Hanzo Hasashi)- Asano Tadanobu

Why: The man is a great actor and if Ichi the Killer is any indication he can pull off the role of a former assassin turned specter.

Raiden- Ken Watanabe

Why: Watanabe has that sagely mentor air about him, but he can also be completely badass when the mood calls for it.

Kitana and Mileena - Samantha Tjhia

Why: I liked her in the Legacy web series but I thought she should play both Kitana and Mileena seeing as their supposed to be "twins"

Andy Lau- Shang Tsung

Why: Andy doesn't play a villain that often, but when he does he can be very convincing. His character in Shaolin is such a great villain in the first half of the movie and i based my casting on that.

Nightwolf- Benjamin Bratt

Why: I just watched his last film La Mission and I think he did a phenomenal job in that. I also found it hard to find a Native American actor (that is not to old for the role).

Noob Saibot/Bi Han- Lee Byung Hun

Why: Lee is a personal favorite of mine, I Saw The Devil is now my favorite movie because of him. He's also the only reason I "liked" the G.I.Joe movie, he has enough martial arts experience playing Storm Shadow to.

Kano- Colin Farrel

Why: All in all I just think he has the right look for Kano and it also helps that he is actually a very good actor when given good material.

Barakka- Andy Serkis

Why: What is Serkis known for?, playing characters using mo-cap. He can embody any type of character ranging from a giant gorilla to a little man with a split personality.

Stryker- Daniel Craig

Why: Not only do I think Craig has the right look for Stryker but he also i a great actor. And if James Bond proves anything, it's that he can kick some ass.

Kenshi- Takeshi Kaneshiro

Smoke- Ray Park

Why: Ray Park is a phenomenal martial artist, I don't think he's leading man material but as a supporting character he can be great.

Shao Khan- Vin Diesel

Why: Diesel has the hulking physique that Khan is known for, the voice also helps.

Jax- Idris Elba

Why: The first time I was exposed to Elba was The Losers, and he was great in that until the whole backstabbing thing. Yes I like Michael Jai White but I think he's a bit to old for the role.

Will be adding more later!
